Hey, video creators!
Are you struggling to create great quality videos for your business, your company or for your own brand?
In this LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP COURSE with over 6 hours of video instruction, here's a small taste of what you will walk away with:
- How to craft a story that viewers will WANT to watch.
- How to use the camera you have now, and make it's image look amazing (even if you only have a smartphone or an older DSLR).
- You will know the best ways to effectively capture crystal clear audio in a wide variety of situations.
- You will also be able to implement directing techniques to get the most out of your on-screen talent.
- You will learn how to not only edit your videos, but you'll also be able to correct some common, sometimes unavoidable mistakes made during filming.
Below is a high level outline for the sessions that you will receive in this course.
Session 1: Content. Before you even pick up the camera, you need to have this all-important step completed. Learn how to come up with strong, focused content that will gain more viewers.
Session 2: Gear. We'll be going over a wide variety of camera styles so you can get the absolute MOST out of whatever you are rocking right now. Smartphones, DSLRs, mirrorless, cancorders and action cameras. Not only will you be able to create a stunning image out of what you have now, but this session will give you the knowledge needed to know the best type of camera going forward.
Session 3: Image -- Lighting and Composition. Now we're talking! In this session you'll learn how to use lighting techniques with the materials at your disposal. We will also be going over low cost kits you can throw together from your local hardware store, inexpensive kits that you can graduate to, and how to light a variety of scenes using all of these. And once you've got the scene lit and looking nice, be sure to nail down the composition to help tell your story.
Session 4: Audio. With how shockingly bad the audio is on so many videos, this session alone will be putting you head and shoulders above the majority of people out there. You'll hear several types of audio solutions for a variety of situations, and when to use each. You'll also get free tried-and-true methods to get your location ready for filming.
Session 5: Directing. Ooh boy, time to get the megaphone and fancy director's chair! In this session, learn to get the best possible performance out of the on-camera talent, whether they are reading lines, speaking off-the-cuff or need to "act natural."
Session 6: B-Roll. What it is, why you need it, how to get it. And by "how to get it," you'll understand how to get many styles of footage using no fancy equipment at all... but will also get a small sample of what CAN be done with some fun toys like sliders, jibs and camera stabilizers.
Session 7: Editing 101. This is where it aaallllll comes together! In this super important session, learn what to do to assemble the puzzle that is all your raw footage, and what NOT to do, so it doesn't become painful to watch.
Session 8: Uploading & Distribution. It's time to get that baby out to the world! If you're not uploading it right, it won't look it's best (or it won't play at all), and if you're not distributing it right, you're robbing your amazing creation of the eyeballs it deserves.
